How I did it?

What I have?

  • What are the different types of medium of art pieces being sold?

  • How many original pieces? How many non-original pieces?

  • Do you have an inventory of what is going to be sold?

  • How much do you want to charge for each art piece?

What I need?

  • Have you already purchased a link for your e-commerce website? Did you purchase one for the gallery website?

  • Are you selling the artwork as a digital product? What type of digital file would you like to sell? Can this be downloaded?

  • Are you selling multiple versions of the artwork?

  • Will you ship a physical product to a person’s house?

  • I need descriptions for the products you want to sell.

  • Are there going to be terms or conditions you want to set for the sale of the product? What will they be?

  • Do you need an inventory? This will need a SKU number for each product you sell!

In this 1 month remote project, I convinced the client to grow their brand by working on the brand’s visual identity and growth digitally.

I sketched logo concepts but but did not design a new logo for the client’s brand growth, as client wanted to focus more on their digital web presence, to sell their artwork.

Takeaway

Logo redesign was not approved for consideration as the website launch became a priority. When proposing a product present the logo as an essential part of brand growth in the first meeting to a client to help them understand importance of an updated logo.
